It's not that easy...
If the remote supports the XVideo extensions and your LAN is fast enough
it should work. Maybe it even works without the XVideo extensions, but
then you need even more bandwidth...

Also, forwarding audio from the TV card basically works, but has it's
flaws. Because the two soundcards that are not synchronized you get
dropouts and because of buffering you get sound delay, so video and
audio probably will be quite out of sync.
