No. I want to connect the "input gain" and "line mode" options of aurecord
via the mixer controls in the voxware server to the correct mixer controls
in the sound driver. Paul suggested a generic solution to this (and any
similar) problem should be implemented (if I understand him properly).

Doing this in a generic way with the actual mapping encoded in the
config file seems to be complex, especially if every input channel
provided by every sound driver should be mapped to any of the two NAS
input channels.

Changing the voxware server to accept a new option which enables the use
of the "IGain" mixer channel and translates the "line mode" to the right
mixer control for this case of driver/NAS server combination is what I
want. I'll eventually do this myself, I just can't promise when. ;-)

In the current situation I can record via NAS, but I have to use a
seperate mixer program on the local machine to set the gain and select
the recording source.
