All thanks to you.  But I have one more small
question.  When I try to run nasd in the background
from my console with:

     nasd -aa &

it keeps outputing data to my screen.
That's ok, though, because I can

     nasd -aa >/dev/null &

if I want, I suppose, and nohup it, too, but
why does nasd exit if I hit my intr key?  Its
supposed to be in the background, right?  How
is it listening to a command prompt for me to
hit ctrl-c  (well actually its DEL on Uw7).
