[Conquest] Help compiling 7.x version

You might be better off just using the last released v8.x series...

There will probably still be tons of warnings, but it might resolve some 
of the errors you listed below.

Also keep in mind, the curses client is at a severe disadvantage 
compared to the GUI client.
