   Hmm.  The main issue is that aurecord does not currently output to
   stdout, though it should be fairly simple to modify it to do
   so... So, assuming that aurecord can dump it's data to stdout,
   something like the following might work:

   mic->nasd->aurecord |auplay remotehost ----internet--->nasd

   Or:

   mic->nasd ----internet--->aurecord remotehost |auplay->nasd
