[nas] Can't record

Hi,

i just installed nas

johannes at slave:~$ apt-cache show nas| grep Version

Playback works but i can't get it to record something. When i start
aurecord it creates a file but when i try to play this with auplay i
can't hear anything

I don't really need to record something, the real reason is that i want
to run ant-phone
(http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~stigge/computer/ant/) on slave and
listen to its output on creeper and get the input for ant-phone from
creeper. Is there another way to archive this?
