in fact, i did, just after sending the patch to the list.

i'm not quite sure what to make of it -- the API to the flashsupport
library is exceedingly simple.  oh -- perhaps the new flash stream causes
a new nas stream, in which case it's likely the old and new are getting
mixed up.

is there debug tracing that can be enabled in the server, to track
connections, and such?

  You can run nasd with -d 99 to turn all debugging on.
